Safeguarding Every Day is a small business with a big vision. That vision is to empower educators to become experts in safeguarding children.

 

Cath has worked across education, social care and safeguarding for over 25 years. Since 2020 she has been working for a large London Borough as the Education Safeguarding Lead (more recently within the field of violence against women and girls) and prior to that was an assistant head, inclusion lead and DSL within primary education. As a local authority employee and as an independent practitioner, Cath has extensive experience delivering training in safeguarding with a  particular interest in childhood trauma and ACEs as well as domestic abuse and the impact on children. In addition to training, Cath's safeguarding knowledge extends to auditing and supporting the development of safeguarding provision within nurseries, schools and colleges. ​Cath is also proud to be the safeguarding consultant and training provider for Survivors Can Shine C.I.C. having worked with the company from the developing stages.

Lucy is a post graduate student completing her masters in dance research, leading to a post graduate certificate in 2025-26, with the ambition to study her PHD in Gender studies. She is a qualified Doula and qualified sex educator following completion of her training with BROOK. Lucy is passionate about inclusion and this has been a huge focus in her university research and thesis.
