Safeguarding Every Day is a small business with a big vision. That vision is to support schools and nurseries in achieving high standards of safeguarding with children at the heart of everything they do.

Cath has worked across education, social care and safeguarding for over 25 years. Since 2020 she has been working for a large London Borough as the Education Safeguarding Lead (more recently within the field of violence against women and girls). Prior to that she was an assistant head, inclusion lead and DSL within primary education. As a local authority employee and as an independent practitioner, Cath has extensive experience delivering training in safeguarding with a  particular interest in childhood trauma and ACEs and the impact of domestic abuse on child victims. In addition to training, Cath's safeguarding knowledge extends to auditing and supporting the development of safeguarding provision within nurseries, schools and colleges. Cath is proud to be the safeguarding consultant and training provider for Survivors Can Shine C.I.O. registered charity, having supported the company from early development stages.
